Yesterday I became 64, I was given the most awesome gift from my neighbor.

I get it, not many people can appreciate this Corning Wear pot. American made, unlike the inferior quality of the more recent made in China version.
I use my Corning Wear as often as possible. I have an incredible oven and there’s nothing better than a from scratch pot roast with spuds and carrots roasted for a couple hours in yes a good old oven. Or stew, or or or. Did I mention my favorite cook book. Yep a good old Betty Crocker.
Time to start dinner. Go be someone’s hero. Till next time.

Happy Birthday! And, yes — Corning Ware rocks! All of my various casseroles and baking dishes are mid-century American or Corning. I love them, particularly since many belonged to my mother. Good food and memories, all out of the same dish!

Happy birthday. Yes, I buy up the Corning ware at yard sales, the good old Corning Ware.

My wife collects pyrex. She’s limited herself to two different patterns, or else we wouldn’t have any cabinet space. Happy B-day!
